my room on the 18th floor had the most perfect view of the gateway of india. room attendants proactively prepared the room each day. the shamiana restaurant was well staffed and very proactive if i needed anything.
The checkin process was a bit slow, i waited at the pool in the hot and humid weather.

amazing taj experience!

i was welcomed with such warmth with garlands and tilak by the lovely ladies at the door it was a really touching moment for my whole family! the duty manager, mr maynack, was a star he made sure our check-in was super fast and smooth (i mean, who doesn't love a speedy check-in?). he really were really good too handle all our requirements so efficiently. breakfast was great and all the facilities were clearly explained, it.
the flower arrangements throughout the hotel are lovely i must say. breakfast was a bit chaotic (like a zoo!), some food labels were incorrect, and the bread baskets were sometimes empty.

the staff offered a very warm and efficient welcome at the door, complete with traditional garlands. the duty manager went above and beyond to ensure a smooth check-in for my family and me. this really set a positive tone for our entire stay.
